Racism and How it Ties in With God

It's been awhile since I've written one of these posts. I am in the mood to post and inspire, so that's what I am planning to do. While it is easy to do one of those goals, the other is actually harder than you think to accomplish. Can you guess which one? Well, to post all you have to do is click "Create Post" and start typing, so I think I'm going to go with the latter being harder. After all, to inspire is to change another's emotions, which is a lot harder than most of you might think. (Mmm...I smell popcorn in the microwave)

racism

1.
a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human racial groups determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to dominate others or that a particular racial group is inferior to the others.
2.
a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such doctrine; discrimination.
3.
hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

Racism has always been a big problem in our world. For some reason, people get it in their head that because of some aspect of themselves, they are better than another race of people just because of that "special thing." When you look at an African American and you are white, do you feel superior just because  of your fairer skin? When you look at a woman wearing a hijab, do you feel superior because of your different religion? Now, I may not support Islam, but it is wrong to hate people just because of one of their outward qualities. Yeah, that does sound bad when I put it like that. This topic is not meant to sound funny or childish. So be serious for a couple minutes and really let this sink in to your mind.
Racism is not just about the differences between Blacks and Whites. As I gave an example of before, it could be between Muslims and America, for instance. However, America is known to treat African Americans different than Caucasians, especially back before Martin Luther King Jr. (Wow, I feel like I'm writing an essay for school.) This is not how God intended it to be. There are actually many verses in the Bible that discuss racism and why you should not dwell on it.

The rich and the poor have a common bond, the Lord is the maker of them all.  -Proverbs 22:2

And he said to them, "You yourselves know how unlawful it is for a man who is a Jew to associate with a foreigner or to visit him; and yet God has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean.  -Acts 10:28

But if you show partiality, you are committing sin and are convicted by the law as transgressors.  -James 2:9

There you have it. That is all the proof I need to show you that the Lord does not want us to commit the sin of racism. Below are some quotes that I found on Google Images that I want to include in this post:
