Taking a Break//Sneak Peek

Hola amigos, compadres, other-Spanish-word-for-friends. I am not taking a break from posting, so wipe that sweat off of your forehead! Don't lie to me, I know that's what you were thinking when you saw the title!!! XP
What I am taking a break from is Twice the Fun. I am sorry for those that are silently cursing me because they love it yeah right, like anyone loves it that much, but I just don't have time to work on that, as well as working on my other novel that I am truly serious about.
I don't really know what I'm calling my new novel yet, so that's where I was hoping you guys could come in! I'll give you a little snippet of it. I know that it isn't much to go on, but it'll have to do. I am keeping this strictly secret. That way, no one can be disappointed if I don't post it or publish it. Although, I must admit, I definitely enjoy writing it. A
     Anywho, on with the snippet!

"I run like my death is behind me. I run like I’ll never survive if I stop. I run like my destination is paradise. I run like it is all I can do. And I’m good at it. It comes so naturally to me that I don’t even have to think to swerve around trees and kick up leaves and dirt. Time slows down when I run, because I run so fast that it is normal to me, but if anyone saw me, they would only see the wind making the leaves swirl in the air as I leave my trail.
What I told Julian is not true--I never have to think about running, because it’s just so easy to run. I was born to run--literally. I especially love the feeling of my feet touching the soft ground after it rains. My shoes dig into the dirt and it feels like I spring into the air, and sometimes, I believe that I fly for a couple milliseconds after I spring.
Once, when I was 10, I tried to run without any shoes on, with my toes in the perfect, smooth sand at Leno’s Beach, and my feet had cracked and bled for the next day. I could not walk for a week afterwards. Needless to say, I never did it again. From then on, I ran with shoes.

I smile as I run. It is like a second nature to me as I carry Julian...and fly."

That is just a couple paragraphs in it that I have written so far. I hope that you guys could take the time and comment some titles that you think would be fitting for this story, but if not, I'll just find something myself. :) Thanks for reading, as always!

  1. I was thinking you could call your book "A Running Start" or something like that. ;) Hope this helps!

Hey girls! Whether you are just looking at the comments or going to publish a comment, THANK YOU! Thank you for reading my blog, and sharing your opinions! It means so much to me!
But now for the really serious stuff:

-No bad language. It may seem obvious, but I still want to make sure that you understand that this is a blog for pre-teen/teenagers. Absolutely NONE of that.
-Make sure your comment isn't mean or hurtful to anyone. The last thing I want is for that person to cry.
-Please don't post a million comments that are the same. Like,"What's your pet's name?" three times in 1 day. I get your comments through email. I know that they are there. If I don't respond right away, that means I haven't checked my email.

Make sure you follow these rules. I will delete any comments that disobey these rules, and believe me, I don't want to do that. The last rule I am not really strict about. The other ones though, I am.
Don't get me wrong. I SERIOUSLY LOVE WHEN YOU COMMENT!

Thank you for reading this. Love,
Guinea Pig Lover
