Epic Reads Tag!

Hello girls! It's been awhile since I've done a post that isn't a award, video, or Twice the Fun. I'm going to change that soon. But for now, I have been awarded the Epic Reads Tag from Sarah about 10 days ago, so I figured that I better do it. ;) I have a feeling this is going to brighten my mood for today! :D
Sarah said that this was originally supposed to be a video, but that some people where doing this on there blogs, so I'm going to do the same.

So here we go with the questions and my answers!

1. If you could invite one author and one of their fictional character to tea, who would you invite and what would you serve them?
I would invite the wonderful Cassandra Clare, and her character Tessa from The Infernal Devices. I would serve them blueberry flavored tea and also blueberry muffins with a crumble on top.

2. What book do you wish an author would write a prequel for?
I really wish that Stephanie Meyer, author of Twilight, could write a prequel about Edward and his life before he met Bella. I have just started reading Twilight last week, and I am on the 2nd book called "New Moon" currently. I really don't understand why there is so much hate on Twilight. It's actually really good so far. :D

3. What two characters (NOT from the same book) would make a good couple?
I think that Gale from Hunger Games and Izzy from Mortal Instruments would be a good couple. Izzy and Gale are both a little reckless and have a forceful nature about them.

4. If you ran into your favorite author on the subway and only could say on sentence to them, who is it and what would it be?
My fantasy would be to run into Cassandra Clare. The one sentence I would say to her would be, "Please don't kill Tessa or Jem in the next series!" ;) Btw, they are my favorite characters from the Infernal Devices.

5. What book made you a reader and why?
I don't remember what book that "officially" made me want to read.

6. Incendio! Your bookshelf just caught on fire! What is the one book you would save?
I would save "The Hunger Games", which is the first book.

7. Which dystopian world would you want to live in and why?
I would want to live in the Divergent world, because it is interesting to me what people would go through to see their factions stay together.

The Last Oreo & Squeaker Post

Hello guys. I am so sorry that I haven't had time to tell you this before today...I don't know how to say it. I just don't know!

I'm just going to say it: Oreo died from old age last week.

We knew that he was going to die soon, so we took him out of his cage with Squeaker-because Squeaker was fighting Oreo and hurting him-and put him in another. Oreo died four days after I took all of these pictures to remember him bye.

Oreo's full name was Oreo Chocolate Cookie. We will grieve for him and remember him always. He was the guinea pig that everyone loved in life. He licked your finger if you put it by his mouth. He was calm and gentle and sweet. He was soft and cuddly. He was everyone's favorite to hold because of his warm nature. He was the best guinea pig out of the three I have owned. He was so gentle and calm that I would take him out for all the little kids to pet. And he loved it.

I am sad to say that in his last moments, we were not there for him. I had gone to swimming and the family had to pick me up. When we got home, we found Oreo's eyes closed and he was laying down. I've stayed strong-not cried, I mean-until I had to type this post out. I wish it was Spring, so we could have a proper burial like we had with Ginger(our other guinea pig), but the ground is too frozen to dig.

Do you believe in a special place in Heaven for animals?

As for Squeaks, we are going to find a new home for him. We are done with the guinea pigs, for now anyway. As of right now, Squeaker is living alone in his cage, which I sadly report that he is enjoying being lonely, I guess. Maybe he was just born to be a loner.

Everyone say farewell to Oreo. I know that you guys aren't as attached as I am--or was--but I know that you will understand that I needed to make this post. For me...for Oreo...
