My First School Dance

Hi girls. I just thought that I needed a random post in here to actually "talk to you". I haven't done that in a while. :/ Here is the one thing that I'm going talk about : My first middle school dance. '-' Wow, you guys are soooo excited to read this, aren't you? If you have ever gone to a middle school dance, you probably know where I'm going to go with this. Right? Well, let's start, shall we?

The dance at my school was last Friday, and all the signs said to DRESS CASUAL. Yeah, I think my friend and I were the only ones actually DRESSED CASUAL! I felt so.....under-dressed. Yeah, there were like, girls with fancy gowns on and boys with fancy shirts. And there we were : wearing sweatshirts and jeans. :)

(This is what we were like at the dance, but in sweatshirts and jeans. And we weren't really talking...we were starring at the people we thought we knew...)
The people were crazy! I saw sides of 7th graders that I thought I knew, and they were......different from their normal selves...My friend that I went with and I were just starring in shock. We thought they were going to regret what they were doing tomorrow morning. But who knows? Girls were jumping up and down and running around the place like they had too much sugar. My friend said, "Why are they doing that for no reason?" She likes pondering the acts of human beings such as ourselves. :)

The school dress code was still supposed to apply, but girls were wearing sleeveless dresses and stuff! We had to pay $5 to get in, but then they had a little kid manning soda and pizza, which was free! :D So I had 2 cups of Coca-Cola. That was it though. :)

As we were sitting on chairs, surveying the area around us, about 3-4 kids tried to get us to dance. Like, WE ARE SITTING ON THE CHAIRS FOR A REASON!! Why would we want to dance? Besides, I didn't really feel like embarrassing myself. But I did dance a little after a while. AND THEN THEY TRIED TO GET BOYS AND GIRLS TO SLOW DANCE!! But my friend and I escaped that by staying in the bathroom for a while...LOL!

That is how I dance! (Off Google Images)
The dance was from 6-9 p.m., so we were literally counting every minute! I mean, it was a sense. Well, at least there were teachers there. :/

But if you like to go to dances and to dance, then your dance will probably be better than my experience. :)

Loving Him more everyday...

  1. Gosh gosh gosh, school dances! The same scenario happened to me, too, except I did dance with some of my friends for five minutes. XD School dances don't really get better as the years progress... DX

    xoxo Morning

    1. Oh no! Well, at least you feel my pain? LOL!

  2. I'm home-schooled so I've never been to a dance :( By now I'd be in a junior high-school dance...:( Wow sounds like they were crazy!!!! LOL!

  3. Haha, I went to one with a group of friends..and NO CHAIRS!! AHH! So sitting wasn't an option. So we resorted to playing games that our school has, dancing, eating, and trying to freak people out. <3 lol. :) It was so fun..and funny. ;)

    1. LOL! At least you had a better experience! XD

Hey girls! Whether you are just looking at the comments or going to publish a comment, THANK YOU! Thank you for reading my blog, and sharing your opinions! It means so much to me!
But now for the really serious stuff:

-No bad language. It may seem obvious, but I still want to make sure that you understand that this is a blog for pre-teen/teenagers. Absolutely NONE of that.
-Make sure your comment isn't mean or hurtful to anyone. The last thing I want is for that person to cry.
-Please don't post a million comments that are the same. Like,"What's your pet's name?" three times in 1 day. I get your comments through email. I know that they are there. If I don't respond right away, that means I haven't checked my email.

Make sure you follow these rules. I will delete any comments that disobey these rules, and believe me, I don't want to do that. The last rule I am not really strict about. The other ones though, I am.

Thank you for reading this. Love,
Guinea Pig Lover
