My Resolutions

Hey guys! So, I'm thinking ahead for this next year, and I've decided I'll make my own resolutions for 2015. Some of you would probably have asked if I had resolutions eventually; although, nobody has yet. ;) So to start this off, I'm going to thank everyone who has been reading my blog in 2014 and before. :) Thanks guys! This blog means so much to me, and I don't know what my life would have been like if I didn't start it in 2013. I've made so many new friends along the way, and it's been an awesome experience! :') I'm literally crying-but tears of joy! I love you guys so much!
The big thing that I am going to try to do is this:
I am totally doing this!

I'm glad that I have all year to do this! It'll take forever! "A banned book"? What is that supposed to mean?! My library doesn't have any "banned books"! And if they're banned, then they are probably banned for a reason! I think I'm just going to skip that...
        Other resolutions:

  • Get 40 followers by the end of the year 2015. You guys are going to have to help me with that. ;P
  • Have a picture in every other post at least (excluding music videos). :)
  • Get blonde highlights in my hair. :D
  • Put $200 in my bank account by the end of the year.
  • Get 2 babysitting jobs(I haven't babysat anyone besides my own family since March last year).
That's all I can think of. :) What are your resolutions? Will you do the reading challenge with me? Comment below!

Loving Him more everyday...

  1. That's amaIng, I am embarking on this, too, for the New Year! Hm... banned books are books that are banned for schools because they seem to be "inappropriate." There was this one series my brother read in second grade that I also read in the fourth grade called Captain Underpants. Have you heard of the series? If not, it's okay. :) They never banned it at my school, but because of all of the "fart" jokes in it some schools banned it... There is a banned book week, I think (not sure when) and an article on CNN with lists of banned books. I'll try to find it. I do got to warn you though, that some books that are banned are banned for really explicit reasons, so caution when you try to dig for some! Have a wonderful 2015!

    xoxo Morning

    1. So here is the article from CNN about Banned Books Week:
      http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/living/most-frequently-challenged-books-2013/

And here is the official site for that which lists out some "banned books" annually:

      Hope this helps!

    2. Yes, I have heard of Captain Underpants. I haven't read it, but I've seen it on the shelves of our school library. Thanks for the links! It did help! I'm going to read "Black Beauty" for the banned book, because I've already read it, and I actually own it! I read it a couple years ago, and then completely forgot about it! I haven't thought about that book since I read it! LOL! Thanks so much for the help! :D

  2. That's awesome! I think I might try the reading challenge as well. I haven't been reading as much since I started my blog and really need to get my nose in another book! :)

  3. This looks like a lot of fun to try. I don't have the time anymore to read books, but maybe I'll pick a couple from the list. I love what I've seen with this blog, and I'll help you with your increasing followers goal. I blog too and I know how hard it can be to gain viewers. I posted my New Year's Resolutions too, the big one for me is to drink more water. Its been going good so far, but it can be tough to plan it around my school day. I'd love for you to check out my blog and subscribe to it if you like it. Right now I'm doing a giveaway and it isn't too late to sign up. You can explore my site at: www.elizamcfarlish.weebly.com
I plan to follow your blog as soon as I submit this comment :)

Have a super, fantastic, awesome, splendid, amazing day!

Hey girls! Whether you are just looking at the comments or going to publish a comment, THANK YOU! Thank you for reading my blog, and sharing your opinions! It means so much to me!
But now for the really serious stuff:

-No bad language. It may seem obvious, but I still want to make sure that you understand that this is a blog for pre-teen/teenagers. Absolutely NONE of that.
-Make sure your comment isn't mean or hurtful to anyone. The last thing I want is for that person to cry.
-Please don't post a million comments that are the same. Like,"What's your pet's name?" three times in 1 day. I get your comments through email. I know that they are there. If I don't respond right away, that means I haven't checked my email.

Make sure you follow these rules. I will delete any comments that disobey these rules, and believe me, I don't want to do that. The last rule I am not really strict about. The other ones though, I am.
Don't get me wrong. I SERIOUSLY LOVE WHEN YOU COMMENT!

Thank you for reading this. Love,
Guinea Pig Lover
