Days passed quickly and Memorial day had finally come. The Taleans were all getting ready to go. Zach was thrilled. He also loved the Cane's house. Candy's little brother, Mike was nine years old. Zach and Mike got along so well that nobody ever questioned if it was a good idea to get them together.
Victoria was in her bedroom packing. She quickly grabbed a backpack, a sleeping bag, a pillow, and a toothbrush and some toothpaste. Then, she picked out a purple t-shirt with sequins on it, a back-up long sleeved plain white t-shirt, a fleece pajama top with ladybugs on it, grey sweatpants(she just found those), and two pairs of jeans--one skinny and one boot-cut. She stuffed the clothes in the backpack, one by one.
She was almost ready ten minutes later when Jackie knocked on the door of Torie's room.
"Come in," said Torie.
"Dad's wondering if you're done yet." said Jackie after she had entered the pink room.
Torie really wanted to snap back saying,"Well, if I was done yet I would already be down there!" but she knew better than to say that. So instead, she said,
"Tell him I am almost done. I just have to pack three more things."
"Okay." muttered Jacqueline as she exited.
Torie sighed and rolled her eyes.
That was such a long conversation, thought Torie.
Two minutes later, Victoria was downstairs in the kitchen helping Mom prepare the chips and salsa.
"Are you excited Torie?" asked Mom.
"Yes! I've been excited ever since Ca-" Torie stopped herself."--Kelly called."
"I could tell." said Mom, smiling while she chopped the tomatoes.
Torie hated tomatoes. The thought of one made her gag. So you must think of watching people bite into them! Yuck!
Torie giggled. "Don't expect me to be wide awake tomorrow morning. You'll probably see drool all over my face and bags under my eyes!"
Mom chuckled. "I've got some daughter." she said as she gave Victoria a kiss on the top of her head.
"Now help chop onions!" ordered Mom playfully.
Torie saluted."Got it boss!"
With that, Mom laughed more."I'm the boss all right!"

Babysitter: Chelsea Trust PART 6
Chelsea looked around, but it wasn't Annabelle or Dorothy which meant--Doug. She was trapped. She would either stay and comfort Millie, or go get Doug. Chelsea decided to ask Annabelle to go get Douglas, while she stayed with Millie.
"Annabelle, can you go get Doug from his crib for me please?" asked Chelsea sweetly.
"No." replied Annabelle.
"Let me rephrase that: Go get Doug." said Chelsea, trying to remain patient.
"No! I don't need to listen to you!" shouted the eight year old.
Chelsea was dumb-founded. Peyton would never even think about talking to anyone that way.
"As a matter of fact, you do need to listen to me. Do you remember what your mom and dad said before they left?" Chelsea did not wait for an answer. "They said to behave and help with Doug." said Chelsea confidently.
Annabelle still didn't move.
"I'll help." came a muffled voice from behind Chelsea. It was Millie. She had stopped crying, but was still sniffling.
"Thank you, Millie." said Chelsea as she watched Millie get off her seat and walk toward the hallway.
Chelsea followed her. Millie stopped at the second door on the right.
"His room is right here." said Millie, opening the door to a crying baby.
"Oh, he is so cute!" cooed Chelsea as she spied the baby. She picked Doug up and said,
"Hello, Doug. I'm Chelsea, your babysitter for tonight."
Millie giggled. "He can't talk. He doesn't know how."
"Really?" Chelsea pretended to groan. "That's horrible!"
Finally one of the kids like me, thought Chelsea.
____________________________________________
Three hours later, Chelsea was rocking Doug on the rocking chair trying to get him to sleep. Ashton and Laura would be home any minute now. Chelsea had already gotten Millie and Dorothy to sleep long ago. Annabelle had said she needed to talk to her parents when they get home, so Chelsea thought it was alright to let her stay up. So, there she was, talking to Annabelle while rocking Doug.
"Are you sure they said nine o'clock?" questioned the cranky eight year old.
"Believe me, I am sure. I pretty much thought about this babysitting job 24/7." Chelsea smiled.
"What's 24/7 mean?" asked Annabelle.
"Uh..." Chelsea's sentence trailed off as she tried to think of how to explain.
All of a sudden, the front door opened and a laughing couple walked in.
"Mom! Dad!" shouted Annabelle as she jumped of the brown love-seat.
"Shhhhhh!" warned Chelsea.
But she was too slow. Doug opened his eyes and started to cry.
"Oh Douglas! Mommy missed you!" Laura fussed as she scooped up her child.
Doug instantly stopped crying.
"Mummy?" asked Doug.
Laura froze. "Ashton?! Did you hear that? Doug just said his first word!"
"Oh Laura! My little man is growing up!" exclaimed Ashton.
Doug smiled. Laura's hair was in his mouth.
"Uh, Mrs.Laura?" Chelsea spoke up.
"What is it Chelsea, darling?" Laura said still looking down at her baby.
"I thought I should let you know that Doug is chewing on your hair..."
Laura pulled her hair behind her head. "Thanks, darling."
"Yep." said Chelsea. No one payed attention."I think I am going to go call my Mom now. Where is your phone?"
"In the kitchen." replied Ashton.
Chelsea headed for the kitchen. Once she found the house phone she dialed her Mom's cell phone number: 221-6583.
She held the phone up to her ear.
"Hello? Is that you, Chelsea?" came her mother's voice on the other end.
"Yeah, Mom. You can come pick me up now." said Chelsea. She yawned.
"Okay, sweetie. I'll be there in ten minutes."
"See ya soon. Bye." Chelsea hung up.
"Annabelle, can you go get Doug from his crib for me please?" asked Chelsea sweetly.

Twice the Fun-Part 1
Aurora King
When the bell rang that day, I jumped up for joy. Sixth grade was finally over! Summer here I come!
But what I didn't know was that this summer was going to be-unique. Some would probably say I was lying about the whole thing, but not my sister, Ariana. She was there the whole time with me. And people always believe my sister.
Anyway, I ran outside of the school. Some people were laughing, some were crying, some were just standing there waiting for the bus. It was all sort of different emotions outside of the middle school. Then, I spotted Leah. She is pretty easy to spot, since I have know her since 2nd grade. Leah was my best friend.
"Leah! Leah, over here!" I said waving my arms in the air. She turned around and saw me.
"Hi, Aurora. I can't wait to go to the beach this summer! And camping, vacationing, and spending time with you!" said Leah once she got close to me.
"I know!" I said back. How was I supposed to reply?
I saw my twin sister a couple of yards away. She was crying. Go figure! She loved school. Not the homework part, but the seeing her friends part. My guess on how many friends she had was probably about twenty. Me? I only had one friend, which was Leah. That was all I needed. Why have a whole bunch of friends who weren't that much into you, than have one, true friend? It didn't make sense.
"Look, Aurora. The buses." said Leah pointing behind me. I turned around and saw them. I looked for Bus 5, the one that I rode. Sure enough, there it was. In between all of the other buses.
"Ariana, say goodbye to all of your friends. The buses are here." I called to my sister.
She didn't hear me. Oh well.
"Leah, wait. I need to tell you something." I said to my best friend before she walked away.
"Yes?"
"Text, email, or call me every day. Okay?" I asked.
She smiled."Okay. I will."
I grinned at her, then headed to Bus 5, while she headed to Bus 3.
When I got on the bus, I went all the way to the back. I picked a seat across from Haley, Ariana's seat buddy. Nobody was already seated there, so I laid down, got my MP3 player out of my backpack, and put the headphones in my ears. Then, surprisingly, I fell right asleep.

This song tells of some of the miracles that Jesus did. It has some intense scenes in it, so you may want to look away when Jesus is getting nailed to the cross.

Babysitter: Chelsea Trust PART 5
"I don't like you! I want Mommy and Daddy!" cried Dorothy.
"What's for dinner?" asked Millie.
"I'm starving. Make me dinner!" whined Annabelle.
Chelsea closed her eyes. She figured this would happen. So Chelsea soon decided to crack open the duffel bag. "What's in there?" asked Millie.
"Lots and lots of toys!" said Chelsea hoping to become on the kids good sides.
Chelsea dumped out the bag and more toys scattered the floor. Chelsea didn't expect to get her brother's toys back. In fact, she even told Mom that. Mom said it was fine, much to Chelsea surprise.
All at once, the girls went on search of the toys they wanted to play with and quickly ran into their room before Chelsea changed her mind.
That was easy, thought Chelsea. But Chelsea didn't know that the next four hours would be the most stressful hours of her life!
Dinner wasn't served until six o'clock, one hour later. And when it was served, the two older girls didn't want to eat it.
"I don't want to eat it! It's gross!" complained Annabelle as she pushed her plate away from her.
"Me too!" said Dorothy doing the same.
Are you wondering what the dinner was? Macaroni and Cheese with carrots! Everyone loves mac and cheese! Or so Chelsea thought. Millie was the only one who ate.
"I think it's yummy!" declared the proud Millie.
Annabelle stuck her tongue out.
"Annabelle!" gasped Chelsea. Hadn't anyone taught these girls manners?
"What?!" Annabelle said--or rather shouted.
"You do not stick your tongue out. Ever!" scolded Chelsea.
"But what if it's itchy?" said the smart aleck, Annabelle.
Before Chelsea had time to answer her Millie burst out crying. Chelsea frowned.
"What's wrong, Millie?" asked Chelsea. Millie pointed to her food.
"It burned her." translated Dorothy.
Millie nodded. She tried to stop crying, but was unsuccessful.
Then, Chelsea heard more crying.
"What's for dinner?" asked Millie.

Victoria Hope Talean (Part 8)
Ring...ring...ring...
Torie saw Mom pick up the house phone in the kitchen.
"Hello?" Mom said into the phone.
There was a short pause.
"Oh yes. She's right here." said Mom again, walking over to Torie sitting on the living room couch reading Amy Carmichael. "It's Kelly Kane."
Kelly Kane was one of Victoria's friends. Instead of calling her 'Kelly' everybody always called her Candy, since her last name was Kane. Everyone, of course, but the adults.
Kelly had blonde hair, green eyes, and glasses that looked really pretty on her.
Torie grabbed the phone from Mom and said,
"Hi Candy. What's new?"
"Oh hi Torie! I was calling to ask your family over for a Memorial day party at our house." said Candy getting straight to the point.
"Oh cool! When is it?"
"Memorial day." laughed Candy Kane. Torie was embarrassed she asked.
"Oh, yeah. I just didn't know if, you know... you were actually having it... on Memorial day." Torie stampered.
"It's totally alright. It's going to be at 5:30, so we'll have dinner made. Then,--here's were it gets better--after dinner's done, you and Zach get to sleep over once the rest of your family goes home!" Candy squealed.
One reason Torie and Candy were friends: They both were girly-girls. As simple as that.
Now it was Torie's turn to squeal. The Kane's house was the most fun house in the world to sleep at! The Kane's house had a pool, separate bedrooms, bathrooms, and t.v.s. That meant that the guest could stay up all night for all the Kane's cared!
"Ohmigosh! Put your mom on the phone, and I'll put mine on." squeaked Victoria.
Candy agreed, so Torie quickly found Mom and stuck the phone in her hand. Mom gave Torie a curious glance and put the phone up to her ear.
"Hello?" said Mom reluctantly."Oh hi, Becky!"
Torie wandered off wanting to know it she was going to go to the fun house or not, and at the same time not wanting to know...

Babysitter: Chelsea Trust PART 4
What a mess! Toys, books, garbage, and other random objects lay everywhere! Chelsea had never seen such a house like this. But she did not judge them yet. They did have four wild children on their hands!
Just then, a woman that looks to be about 29 years old walked into what looked to be a living room.
"Oh hello! You must be Chelsea. I'm Laura and that's Ashton. I believe you just met. Take a seat, don't be shy!" welcomed the woman as she motioned for Chelsea to sit.
"Annabelle, Dorothy, Millie!" called Ashton.
"Doug is sleeping. He'll probably wake up in a hour. They haven't had dinner yet, so I hope you can come up with something. Just make sure you give them a fruit or veggie with it." said Laura.
"Okay. Um...can you show me where you keep your band-aids?" asked Chelsea politely.
"Sure thing. Why don't you meet the girls first, though? Did I tell you their ages?" asked Laura.
"Yes, you did." said Chelsea.
As if right on cue, all three girls paraded into the living room. First was(Chelsea guessed) the 6 year old Dorothy. Dorothy had short, curly blonde hair, blue-green eyes, and a look of wonder on her face.
Next was Annabelle, the 8 year old. Annabelle looked a lot like Millie, who came last. The eight and three year olds both had red hair down to their shoulders, green eyes, and while Millie bore the look of wonder, Annabelle had a look of dread.
"Who is she?" asked Millie, pointing to Chelsea.
"Her name is Chelsea Trust. She's going to be your babysitter for tonight." answered Ashton.
"Hey guys!" said Chelsea, waving.
The girls were skeptical, but who would blame them? The Alquist girls have never seen this 'so called' Chelsea Trust in their lives, and yet their parents left them alone with her? How absurd!
"Girls, you behave for Chelsea now. Help her out with Doug. She's going to make dinner for you while Daddy and I are out. We'll be back after you go to bed." said Laura.
"Okay." said all three girls in unison.
"Will we see you tomorrow though?" asked little Millie.
"Yes, yes. We'll be here when you wake up. Goodbye girls." said Ashton as Laura gave the children kisses.
"Bye!" said Millie and Dorothy as their parents walked out the door.
They never showed me where the band-aids were, thought Chelsea.
Once the door was shut, the trouble began...

Victoria Hope Talean (Part 7)
The crash Victoria heard was deafening, as she hit her head on the passenger seat of the Talean's mini van.
Makayla, who was on Torie's left side, did the same, only harder. Margrett, Kayla's older sister, was in the passenger seat up front bracing herself. Margrett didn't have her seat belt on, so she bounced up when the van crashed into another vehicle and hit her head on the roof of the van.
Torie's head throbbed, but she payed more attention to the driver - Mom. Mom had it worse.
When the wind shield shattered, it shot all over. Since Margrett was in the front seat, she got hit with glass the most out of all three girls, but it was nothing compared to Mom.
Torie closed her eyes. She wanted to disappear. She stole a quick glance at Kayla. Kayla was not moving. Her eyes were shut, forehead swollen, and head bobbling from side to side.
That was when Victoria lost it. Sure, she had been scared before, but that was nothing now... Torie knew Kayla was dead next to her.
Torie woke up frightened. She had never dreamed of something so real as the one she had witnessed.
What if that really did happen? What would I do if it did?, Victoria asked herself.
The dream disturbed her so much, that when she got out of bed, she was shaking. She wanted to go and see Kayla, even though Torie knew that the dream was not real, so that she could double check. To bad the Talean family had other plans, though.
It had been four days since Jackie and Tracy had that accident. Tracy was fine, Jackie was fine, all ended well. Except, of course, Jackie had to get her stitches removed that day. Jackie, Mom, and Dad were the only ones going, so that left the other three kids with a babysitter - Tara Graham.
Tara Graham was a fifteen year old girl who had caramel colored hair with bright blue highlights(not surprising since her favorite color was blue), a pierced nose, pierced ears(going all the way up), and hazel eyes. She wasn't a very good money saver, hence she got stuck with a babysitting job. Tara was pretty cool, once you get to know her. She was the Talean's regular babysitter.
Though the sight of her pierced nose and ears made Torie want to throw up, Torie really liked her. She always brought over movies she rented -with her unsaved money- every time she babysat so she didn't even have to watch the kids all that much. That day, she brought over The Avengers. It was rated PG-13. Personally, Torie thought that Zach was a little to young to watch it, but Mom and Dad didn't mind.
Torie didn't like the movie in the end. But Kayla would have probably liked it. There seemed to be an unwritten rule that whatever Torie didn't like, Kayla did.
By the time the movie was done, Mom, Dad, and Jackie had been home for half a hour. Jackie was upset since she didn't get to what the whole movie, but Torie told her that it wasn't worth spending that much time watching a 'dumb movie'.
"Oh, all right. I'll take your word for it. After all, you are my sister." said Jaqueline.
Torie smiled.
Tara stayed until one o'clock when she said she had to meet a friend at the clothing store.
Not surprising,thought Torie.
Torie guessed the friend she was meeting was probably Jeanette Zolin, Tara's best friend.
Victoria asked Tara about it before she left.
"I'm gonna meet Addison Truelock. She's Carter Truelock's brother." stated Tara as her eyes started to look dreamy. Victoria nodded as though she knew who that was, but truthfully didn't have even a idea of what Tara was talking about.
Tara didn't notice and just kept mumbling about Carter.
Victoria heard bits and pieces like,"...he's in tenth grade" and "... he is probably the best student in the whole high school" and "I adore him...".
That's when Justin interrupted. "Oh I've heard of him! Best football player there is!"
Justin was going into ninth grade next school year, so he already started to learn about high school.
Torie rolled her eyes.
I've had enough!, thought Torie. Football is so boring...

Babysitter: Chelsea Trust PART 3
On Thursday, Chelsea was just about ready for her 1st babysitting experience. She thought she might as well bring a few toys from when Peyton was a baby. Of course, that was not long ago since Peyton is only eight.
So there she was, packing up toys in her blue duffel bag in the living room. She was going to be dropped off in 30 minutes at the Alquist's house. The Alquists had four kids- Annabell, Dorothy, Millie, and Doug. But it wasn't the number of kids that was the problem, it was their ages.
Annabelle was 8, Dorothy was 6, Millie was 3, and Doug was almost one. Talk about a handful!
Yes sir, this was going to be a challenge.
"Good luck with your babysitting job, Chelsea." said Nathan Isaiah Trust.
"Thanks, I'm probably going to need it! Especially if I have four kids that are 8, 6,3, and eleven months old!" Chelsea joked.
The two siblings laughed together. Out of all the kids in the Trust family, Chelsea was totally closest to Nathan, even though he was 13.
Just then, James walked in, ruining the brother/sister moment.
"Nathan, I need to talk to you." said James.
"Why?" asked Nathan not moving.
"Because I do." said James.
"James, I asked why." said Nathan.
"Nathan, I said because I do..." said James coldly.
Chelsea and Nathan could tell that James was having a bad day.
"Well, then you'll have to wait, because I am already talking to Chelsea." said Nathan peacefully.
James scowled. Then he turned around and went to Mason and his room.
Just seconds later, Mason came into the living room.
"He kick you out?" said Nathan chuckling.
Mason nodded and then took a seat next to Chelsea.
"So you're babysitting the Alquists, huh?" asked Mason in a big brother way.
"Yup." said Chelsea still packing.
"Don't they have four kids under nine?" asked Mason.
Chelsea nodded. "An eight year old, a six year old, a three year old, and a eleven month old."
"Cool. Conrad said his sister babysat them once." remarked Mason.
Chelsea just nodded.
Fortunately, it was time to go by the time she was finished packing the duffel bag full of toys. So Chelsea and Mom hopped into their 15- passenger van.
"Now Chelsea, remember you're first-aid training if anything goes wrong. And you know you can always call me or the Alquists if you don't know what to do." said Mom for the one-hundredth time.
"Mmm hmm..." said Chelsea nodding her head.
Chelsea was in her own world, though. She was still thinking when the Trusts pulled into the driveway. They were still ten minutes early.
"Okay, dear. I'll be back to pick you up when you call me. I hope you have a fun time with the kids. Bye!" Mom gave Chelsea a quick kiss on the cheek.
"Bye Mom. See you later." replied Chelsea as she grabbed her bag and opened the side door.
Chelsea jumped out of the van. It was raining, so Chelsea quickly ran to the door and ran the doorbell.
Ding, Dong...Ding,Dong...
The door opened quickly and a man in his early thirties appeared.
"Hello, you must be the babysitter we've been waiting for. I'm sorry, but it seems I have forgot your name. Do you mind saying it again for me?" asked the man.
"It's Chelsea. And yours is...?"
"Ashton Alquist. I'd prefer if you just call me Ashton instead of all that mumbo jumbo Mr. and Mrs. stuff." said Ashton. Chelsea could tell he was very open to speak his mind.
"Okay. May I come in?" asked Chelsea politely.
"Oh yes! I am sorry about that. Come on in, Chelsea." said Ashton stepping aside.
Chelsea stepped inside. A surprise met her there...

Ylvis - What does the Fox Say?
I know this is not a Christian music video, but this is a must see! I laughed my head off! So did my whole family. I got even the little ones to sing, "What does the fox say?" Listen to this and it'll be stuck in your head. I PROMISE! LOL!!!

Abbandon - Hero
I tried to search for the artist of this song for two years. Finally, this year I found who it was by.
This video is sort of intense, but I thought it would be okay since it gives you what really happened to Jesus when he was crucified. You might want to look away when he is hanging on the cross though. It makes me realize that how much pain it was to Jesus Christ.

TobyMac - Me Without You
This video is in honor of my friend Chickadee, because she requested a TobyMac song, and of my brothers, because they are lego freaks!
Superchick - Hero
This song makes me cry. It makes me realize that this world is full of bullying, and I want to do something about that. I want to be a hero. I don't like to rap part, but I like the lyrics of the rap.
Squeaker!!!
Hi everybody! I bet you are all wondering what 'squeaker' is. Well, he is my brand new baby guinea pig!!
We went to the pet store yesterday and picked him out! I wish I could post a picture of him, but sadly, i can't. I don't know how to do that.
But anyway, Squeaker is really soft and it feels like you are touching air when you are petting him. And he is soooooooooo light! My estimated amount of his weight is probably around one pound!
We have another guinea pig named Oreo (mentioned in my profile) too, but he is older. Not really old, only like about 3 years old. We had to get another friend for Oreo because my other guinea pig named Ginger/Gingerbread died about a month ago from cancer. We got a younger one since they are supposed to have a father/son relationship, because if we got a older one they would probably fight with each other.
I LOVE SQUEAKER!!

Babysitter: Chelsea Trust PART 2
Before Chelsea could look over the drawing, she heard the phone ring. It made her jump. All of the nine family members had a phone in their room. Of course only one phone per room, though. That way, when everybody heard the phone ring they could to see if it was for them or not. If it wasn't, the wouldn't answer. If the phone wasn't answered on the third ring Mom or Dad would answer it.
Chelsea jumped out off the bed and quickly rushed to the phone. The caller I.D. said,"Lavite, Cole."
She quickly pressed the green button and said,"Hello?"
"Hi, can I talk to Chelsea?" asked the girl on the phone.
"You're talking to her. Hi, Hayden!" said Chelsea smiling.
"Oh, hi! You sound like your mom!" laughed Hayden.
"I don't know if that's a good thing!"joked Chelsea.
"Anyway, what's up?" asked Hayden Rose Lavite.
"Nothing new. Oh, besides finding out that my sister is a born-to-be drawer." stated Chelsea.
"Oh really? Which one?" asked Hayden.
"Alisha. I'm really surprised I never noticed it before."
"Alisha's the younger one right?"
Chelsea was used to this. Jada and Bridget were the only ones who knew every ones names and ages.
"Yeah..." said Chelsea.
"So what kind of stuff does she draw?"
"Amazing stuff! Like, I was just looking at a picture that was crazily detailed! It's a drawing of our whole family at the store. Mom and Dad are looking at furniture, Mason, James, Nathan, and Peyton were looking at D.V.D.s, and Skylar, Alisha, and I were looking at shoes. All in one picture! I mean-it looked like she took a picture and printed it off of the computer!" said Chelsea excitedly.
"That's really cool!"
"Isn't it? I wonder why I never noticed it before. Well, I guess that's what you get for not paying attention to my little sister..." said Chelsea sadly. It's amazing how much emotions you can go through in less than one minute.
"Don't blame yourself, Chel. You do have six other brothers and sisters." said Hayden.
"Hayden, I share a room with her. You think I would have seen something by now! It's been ten years!" argued Chelsea.
She heard Hayden sigh. Chelsea knew Hayden would never win this argument. After all, Hayden was a only child, so she knew nothing about brothers and sisters.
Finally, Hayden changed the subject.
"So... Did anyone call you about babysitting their little ones?" asked Hayden.
"As a matter of fact, someone has..."
"Who, when, why, and where?" asked Hayden eager to know.
"The Alquists, Thursday, at their house, and because they are going on a date." answered Chelsea how her older brother, James, does.
"Do you know how much they are paying you?" asked Hayden as she chuckled.
"No, I didn't ask."
"Well, good luck." said Hayden.
"Thanks."
There was an awkward silence.
"Well, my mom says I need to go, so bye." said Hayden.
"Bye, Hayden. Remember to email me..." said Chelsea.
"Oh, one more thing..." said Hayden quickly.
"Yeah?"
"Do you know Josephina or Josey Lansky?" asked Hayden.
"Doesn't ring a bell. Why?"
"Well, she's a new girl at church and I was wondering if you ever talked to her."
"No, I have never heard that name before. How old is she?"
"Thirteen or Fourteen." answered Hayden.
"Ohhhh noooo! I don't associate with teens! That's Skylar's job!"
"Oh, okay... I'm going to talk to her next Sunday and tell her that you're nuts in the head!" teased Hayden.
"Hey!" shouted Chelsea.
Hayden laughed a evil laugh. "I've got to go. I'll remember to email you..."
"Okay." said Chelsea.
"Bye." said the friends in unison.
"Jinx!" said Chelsea.
She hung up and tucked Alisha's drawings back to where she found them.
Luckily, she got them in just before Alisha walked in the door.
"Hi, Lish! What's for dinner?"
"Quiet down! Mom thinks I'm in the bathroom. I need a rest and she wouldn't give me one." said Alisha.
"Ol' Mom give you too much to do?" asked Chelsea smiling.
"Yes! She wouldn't let me go a second without doing something. And she wonders why no one ever wants to help her prepare food!" complained Alisha.
Chelsea just nodded her head. Good old Mom!

Hi awesome girls!! This is Guinea Pig Lover. I hope you have been reading my book Victoria Hope Talean! I'm sorry I only post a part every other week most of the time, but that is the only time I can do it. I hope you like my new book Babysitter: Chelsea Trust too! I don't really know what you all are into so I'll try to make the best of it... Any ideas on more blogs and what you are interested in? Just post a comment! I would love to here from you! Honestly!
Guess what! I got a babysitting job on Thursday this week! I am going to tell you all about it!
Here goes:
Okay, so if you have been on my blog already you have probably read my other babysitting post called,"Babysitting My Little Cuz". Well, if you haven't read it already do so now... Okay, so anyway, I babysat Maddex while his little brother Eli was having a physical therapy app. in the house sometime in June. Well, this time, I babysat Eli instead. And this time it was at my house. My whole family was home with me, but I was in charge of watching Eli. Well, let's just say that Eli loves his mommy- A LOT! When she left he cried for about ten minutes until I could find a way to distract him. Well, I found a way! Eli LOVES outside! He also LOVED me pushing him on this little tricycle too! In fact, when my back and neck hurt from bending over I stopped pushing him and took him off... He got back on!! Then he tried to push himself. How cute! So then I sucked up my back and neck pain and pushed him around some more... Then I had to call it quits. Good thing he was hungry! So we went inside and I gave him his lunch that my aunt packed for him- chicken noodle soup, green beans, and cheese cubes. He really liked the cheese... When his mom came back she gave me ten dollars just for watching him for two hours! That would only be four bucks for a different family! So that was my second babysitting experience and I hope to be having more...
See ya,
Guinea Pig Lover

Victoria Hope Talean (Part 6)
"Is she going to be alright, Mom?" asked Victoria in the waiting room at the hospital.
"Tracy is going to be fine." said Mom.
"How many stitches does she need?" asked Kayla.
"A lot, that's all I know. When the glass hit her it cut deep into her skin and that's why she collapsed. It was probably really painful. That and some glass hit her legs." replied Mom.
"Is Jackie going to be alright too?" asked Torie.
"Yes. She only needs 4 stitches in her arms. She is not at all as bad as Tracy is." said Mom.
Makayla started to cry.
"It's all right, Kayla. Your sister is going to be perfectly alright." assured Mom.
"I'm just wondering what would have happened if she hadn't picked the glass mug. Maybe if she hadn't, we would still be at the store shopping." cried Kayla.
Torie starred at Kayla. She had never seen her cry before. If something like this would have happened in the past Victoria would be the one crying and Makayla would be the one starring.
"I know, honey. But God doesn't want us to always stay in the land of maybe all the time." said Mom.
"I know." said Kayla as she sniffed.
"There's nothing you can do know but pray." said Mom.
"Okay. I will." said Kayla.
"Good. The LORD will help with whatever problem you have."
"Mom, I'm going to go to the restroom." said Victoria.
"Okay. We'll be here." said Mom.
With that said, Torie got up and walked away. When she was safely in the bathroom she wept bitterly..

The day after, the Talean family were all sitting at the table to eat lunch.
"Dear God,
Thank you for this food. Thank you that Tracy and Jackie weren't injured too bad and that they both only needed stitches. I want to ask you to help my sister Christina battle cancer and that she will be well or that Christina will die and live with you in heaven. Either way we will praise you for it. Lord, I also want to pray for all the missonaries in all the different countries and in our country who tell people about you. Please keep them safe. I pray all of this in Jesus' name,
Amen." said Mom.
"Thank you, dear."said Dad.
Mom nodded.
The Taleans started to dig into their meal of chicken, green beans, and corn.
"Yummy! Thank you, Mom, for lunch." said Zachery.
"You're welcome." replied Mom.
The rest of the day was going by slowly. Mom said everybody could have alone time in the afternoon, so everybody went to their rooms. Victoria read a book called,"Amy Carmichael" for 'alone time'. Amy Carmichael was a missionary in 1800s and 1900s. She was a missionary in India.
After that, the kids went outside and rode their bikes in the yard.
"Hey, Torie? I was wondering if you guys even went shopping yesterday or if Tracy just picked up that glass mug in the very beginning?" asked Justin when the two were alone.
"It was right in the beginning. Mom and Mrs. Rachel were just going over to the clothes section." replied Torie.
"Oh..." said Justin.
And that was the end of the conversation...
"Tracy is going to be fine." said Mom.

Babysitter: Chelsea Trust PART 1
"Dear Jada,
I wish you were still here. I've missed your company. Bridget misses you too. I hope you can come to my house soon. Maybe you can ask your mom and dad if you guys can spend Easter with us up here. You could even stay at my house! My parents won't mind.
Guess what! My mom said I'm finally old enough to start babysitting myself. Cha-ching! Money will be coming like crazy! Maybe if I get enough money you and I could go shopping at the mall! I'd pay for both of us of 'course. It would be so fun!
The Alquists said they need a babysitter, so I'm going to start on Thursday. Wish me luck! Until then,
~Chelsea Trust~
"There!" said Chelsea Lillian Trust as she admired her letter for her best friend.
Jada Duss, Chelsea's best friend, had moved away a month ago tho Denver, Colorado. Ever since then, the two girls have been calling every week at least once and have been writing letters. According to Chelsea, it was about a year ago since Jada moved. They both missed each other a lot!
"Chelsea, I really don't know why you talk to Jada so much!" said Chelsea's older sixteen year old sister, Skylar.
"Bridget and I really miss her. If your best friend Debra Kister moved away you would do the same thing." said the eleven year old Chelsea.
Skylar just rolled her eyes. Sometimes little sisters were a pain.
"What are you girls fighting about now?" asked Mom (also know as Amelia Eden Trust).
"Skylar's making fun of me." said Chelsea.
"Honestly..." Mom let out a puff of air.
Just then, Mason, the 18 year old, walked into the kitchen.
"Hey, guys." said Mason as he gave a little half wave.
He'd been out running, that's for sure. His face was red and sweaty. And that smell! Stinky!
"Hello Mason." said Mom not noticing her son's body odor."Running again?"
"Yep! I'm going to have a snack, jump in the shower, and then go to the game with Conrad." replied Mason as he opened the fridge.
"The game?" questioned Mom looking up from the cook book she was reading.
"The football game against West Wood and Iron Mountain." explained Mason Levi Trust.
"Oh... What time will you be home?" asked Mom.
"Around six. We are having dinner out. Why?" asked Mason.
"Just wondering... Just make sure you call me if you'll be later than six, okay?"
Mason nodded. Then, just as quickly as he came in, he went out.
"Chelsea? Will you go call Alisha to the kitchen? She's going to help me make dinner." said Mom.
"Sure." said Chelsea as she got up from the table.
"Thank you, Chelsea. By the way, does anyone know where James is?"
James and Skylar were twins. Double trouble dad always said.
"I think Nathan and James are in James and Mason's bedroom." offered Skylar.
Mom just nodded. She never told any of her children why she needed to know, so they never asked to save time.
Chelsea went out to find Alisha. She thought first she better check her and Alisha's bedroom.
Sure enough, Alisha was at their desk that they shared.
"Alisha, Mom said you were going to help her make dinner tonight." said Chelsea as she approached.
"Do you know what we're having?" asked the ten year old Alisha.
"Nope, not a clue..."
"Okay, tell Mom I'll be there in a sec." replied Alisha.
" 'Kay." said Chelsea as she walked away.
But, before she did, she saw what Alisha was drawing. Chelsea couldn't believe her eyes! Alisha was a born-to-be drawer! She was drawing her self-portrait and it looked like it was a real picture! And if Chelsea hadn't seen Alisha coloring in the lips, she would have thought it was a real picture! She had never seen such drawing. Chelsea just had to tell Mom.
Once Chelsea got to the kitchen, she caught Mom's attention.
"Mom, Alisha said that she would be here in a second. You wanna know what she was doing?" asked Chelsea excitedly.
"What?" asked Mom uninterested.
"She was drawing her self-portrait!"
"Oh, really?" asked Mom.
"Yeah, and it looked like she printed a picture off of the computer!"
Mom's interest did not improve. She just answered with a "mmm-hmm".
Chelsea rolled her eyes.
Just then, Alisha ran in with a big smile on her face.
"Why 'you smilin' ?" asked Chelsea.
" 'Cause." replied Alisha.
Chelsea just rolled her eyes again. Sometimes her family was bad on answering properly.
"I'm ready, Mom." said Alisha bouncing around the kitchen.
"Okay, dear." answered Mom as she started giving Alisha directions.
Chelsea wandered off into her bedroom. She wanted to see more of Alisha's drawings.
She opened Alisha's big chest at the end of her bed. It had flowers, hearts, and the word Alisha on it.
Chelsea dug around, making sure not to mess anything up. Alisha was very picky on where everything went.
At the bottom of the chest was a bunch of drawings.
Bingo, thought Chelsea.
Chelsea grabbed the pile of papers and shut the chest. Then, she sat on her bed and flipped through the drawings, one by one.
Chelsea was surprised at how good her sister was. She was also surprised that she never noticed it before.
Chelsea stopped flipping. This drawing really caught her eye...

Victoria Hope Talean (Part 5)
Later that day, after lunch, they met the TeKape girls at Kmart.
"Where's Margrett, Rachel?" asked Mom in the parking lot.
"She told me after Victoria called that she already told her friend that she was going over to her house this afternoon, so she didn't come." said Mrs. Rachel.
"Oh, well tell her we missed her today when you get home for me, will you?" asked Mom.
"Sure." said Mrs. Rachel. "Let's go inside and do some serious shopping."
Mrs. Rachel tried to look tough.
Mom burst out laughing at the sight. Then Torie, Kayla, Jackie, and Tracy did too.
Finally, once Kayla could contain her laughter she said,
"Come on guys, it's getting hot out here."
They all started to walk to the entrance. They parted into groups of twos.
Tracy and Jackie, Torie and Kayla, and Mom and Mrs. Rachel.
Once they were inside, Mom and Mrs. Rachel went to grab carts as the other girls watched.
"What are you getting?" asked Kayla suddenly.
"I need pajamas, shorts, and tank tops for this summer. What about you?" replied Torie.
"T-shirts, shorts, and shoes. You know, I'm a tom-boy, but I still love shopping." said Kayla.
"I can tell." said Torie, giving Kayla a look.
"What?" asked Kayla spotting Torie giving her the look.
"Nothing." said Torie grinning.
"What?" asked Kayla clueless and grinning too.
Torie didn't answer and pretended to ignore her. She look at the two adults making their way to the girls' section. Torie started to follow.
Then, out of the corner of her eye she saw Tracy pick something up of the shelf she was standing by.
"This is pretty." commented Tracy as she studied the object.
That's when Torie saw it. The object was slipping out of Tracy TeKape's fingers!
"NOOOOO!!!!!" shouted Victoria as many people looked at her strangely.
But it was too late. Glass shattered everywhere.
Tracy let out a ear-piercing scream, collapsing on the ground. Jackie was right behind her, and screamed too but was still standing.
Mom and Mrs. Rachel both turned around, but that was a mistake. What they saw was a breath-taker.
"TRACY!" Mrs. Rachel shrieked.
At that moment Torie let out a quick prayer.
God, prayed Victoria. Please let Tracy not be hurt badly.
But it didn't look as if that was possible.
"Where's Margrett, Rachel?" asked Mom in the parking lot.

Victoria Hope Talean (Part 4)
"Torie!Come and do the dishes!"shouted Mom from the kitchen.
"Hold on!"Torie shouted back. She ran through the hallway into the kitchen to load the dishes into the dishwasher.
"Torie, I was wondering if you would like to come shopping with me and Jackie today?"asked Mom.
"It depends. Are we going grocery shopping or clothes shopping? And are we shopping for Jackie's stuff?"
"We are going clothes shopping for both of you." answered Mom.
"Okay, sure. I'll go. Can we invite Kayla along? And her sister for Jackie?" asked Torie as she started to load the dishes into the dishwasher.
"Sure. Can we invite Mrs. TeKape along for me?" joked Mom as she cleared the table.
"Yep. Can I call when I'm done?"
"Sure. You may as well invite Makayla's other sister along."
"Okay. So ask for Kayla, Mrs. TeKape, Tracy, and Margrett. Got it."stated Victoria more to herself than to Mom.
"I'm going to go tell Jacqueline about our little spree, while you call and make sure they can come."said Mom finishing the table.
"Okay. What are the boys going to do while we're gone?"asked Torie.
"They're going fishing." replied Mom.
"Oh."said Torie closing the dishwasher and making her way to the phone.
She dialed Makayla's phone number from heart and heard someone pick up on the other end.
"Hello?"
"Hi, this is Torie."
"Oh hi, Victoria. Do you want to speak to Kayla?"asked Mr. Bob TeKape.
"Yes, sir. That would be great." replied Torie.
"Okay, hold on while I get her."said Bob TeKape."Makayla! Your friend is on the phone!"
A few moments later there was a voice saying,"Hello?"
"Hi," said Torie."My Mom and I was wondering if you, your mom, and your sisters would like to come on our shopping spree with us this afternoon?"
"Hold on a sec." Makayla stopped talking.
"Hello?" came Kayla's voice a couple seconds later.
"Hi."
"Hi. My mom said sure. Where do you want us to meet and what time?"asked Kayla.
"Um... How 'bout one o'clock? Do you want to meet us at Kmart?"suggested Torie.
"Sure! See you at one in the Kmart parking lot. Oh! My mom wants to know if we are having lunch too?"asked Kayla.
"Um... I don't think so. My mom's outside so I can't ask her. I'm just going to say no."said Torie.
"Okay, thanks for inviting us. See you later. Bye!" said Kayla.
"Bye, Makayla! See you soon."
Torie hung up.

Victoria Hope Talean (Part 3)
"Torie, breakfast!" shouted Jackie, Torie's nine year old sister, from the kitchen.
"Coming!" shouted Torie as she quickly got dressed.
Today she was wearing a pink t-shirt that said,"Mt.Evans" on the front and a pair of white capris. Torie rushed down the hallway, hoping that what they were having was not scrambled eggs. It was.
Torie groaned. They had scrambled eggs every other day. It was getting old.
"Torie, what do you say to your mother for making this food?" asked Dad (a.k.a. Jeremiah Dakota Talean).
"Thank you, Mom." said Victoria making a funny face.
"You're welcome." said Mom (a.k.a. Judy-May Eve Talean). "Let's pray now that everyone is here."
"Can I pray, Dad?" asked Zach, Torie's eight year old brother
"I already asked." stated Justin the 'clever' thirteen year old.
"I already asked." stated Justin the 'clever' thirteen year old.
"Ahhh...." groaned Zachery.
"You can pray for lunch."said Mom peacefully.
Justin prayed,"Dear Lord,
I want to thank you for the food and my mom who made it. I ask you to help all of the missionaries that are teaching about you in all of the different countries and that you keep them safe. Please help Aunt Christy battle cancer and that she'll live though it and praise you for it. Please bless this food to our use.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."
They all started to eat.
"Mom? What's for breakfast tomorrow?" asked Jacqueline.
"French toast or cereal." replied Mom.
Oh, thank God! Not eggs.
"Yummy!" shouted Zach.
"Quiet down, son."said Dad.
"Okay."obeyed Zach.
"What kind of cereal?" asked Jackie.
"The cereal you eat." answered Torie.
"What kind of cereal you eat?"
"The good kind."said Justin.
"What good kind of cereal you eat?"
"The kind that's good for you."said Dad.
"What good kind of cereal you eat that is good for you?"asked Jackie smiling. It was a joke that Dad made up when Jackie was born and Torie asked those same questions.
"Rice Crispies!"said Mom giving up.
Everyone laughed.
"Guess you aren 't as good as we are, Judy-May."teased Dad with a grin.
"I guess not."said Mom.
She slipped Dad a quick kiss.
"Break it up, break it up!" said Justin in his coach voice.
Everyone giggled.
I love this family,God,thought Torie, thank you for choosing me to be in it...
